Not a good start

Oh Well! I haven't managed to get off to a good start. I haven't posted since I went back to work. I did however finish some layouts off before I went back to work. What else has been happening - Kody has started Pre-school and is going two days a week. He seems to be having fun and with Uncle Braedon to watch over him.....

Two layouts done at Chookscraps CC. I was determine to get back into scrapping and this seemed to give me the kick start I need and needless to say some much needed inspiration.

"True Blue" Braedon with Dad's Akubra hat on and photos taken of Braedon and Kody together. Trying to get them to sit still for 1 minute for a photo is a major feat.

Trying to get in the scrappin mood

Yes! I am in the mood - for scrappin that is, I just need some inspiration. I think I have scrappers block. I have a few layouts I need to finish off so maybe I will start with that.

DD is always wanting to hog the computer when she is here. She could stay on it all day. I think it's time we got another computer. She is very computer literate and is always showing me new tricks. So I guess I shouldn't complain!!

When I have managed to jump on to the computer today, mainly when she get's up to get a drink, that's my opportunity and I make a quick dash - she doesn't end up very happy when I do that - I've been surfing the net today, mainly scrapbooking sites and I sorted out all our photos on the computer as we keep downloading them to a sort area where I then categorise them. Well needless to say I haven't been doing the sorting so there was a huge backlog.

Some peace and quiet as DH as taken DD for a driving lesson. YES! DD got her L's and is now on the road. What a worry, (with so many accidents on the road) it's a bit worrysome.

Just a start

Well finally sorted out the layout and got this thing working. I even put together a slide show of our trip to to Europe (which was about 2 years ago now). All these photos from this trip must be my favourites. It was wonderful travelling and seeing some of these awesome sites. I think it was the sheer pleasure of wonder and enjoyment on Braedon's face that makes them special, as I seemed to see things through his eyes as well.


It has been a trifle sad in this house today as BT (Braedon) was playing with my daughter's rabbit and just squeezed a little too hard. The poor thing died of shock or lack of air - not sure which. I couldn't believe it, and felt really bad for the rabbit, but how to explain this to a 3 and half year old (actually will be 4 in a couple of months). Should I let him watch me bury the rabbit or just pretend he has gone away. Decision was made I let Braedon help me wrap him up and dig a hole to bury the rabbit in. He took it well (I think). Still asks me what happened to the wabitt. Just thought I would add that the piccy is of the rabbit alive.....not after...

Well among setting up my blog today I also did achieve something around the house and that is pulling the christmas tree apart and packing it away. I have learnt a new trick and that is winding the lights up and sticking taping them in about three places So they never get tangled again. I haven't tackled the outside lights yet. Why is it so exciting putting everything up and such a pain in the ass chore pulling it all down..


I am on holidays for the rest of this week, however will go back Monday. Not so bad as I like my job, but it would be nice to have a month off or so. Hubby is in Canberra as he as already gone back to work.
