CALICO Ghost Town Layout
This layout is one of a set I am working on of our US holiday last year... OH Dear I can't believe I haven't scrapped those pics and now I have this UK trip this year to do too. Oh well. I will get there I'm sure.
Calico Ghost Town was a wonderful place in California and was developed in 1881 during the largest silver strike in California. I have lots of pics of Calico so chose to do a double layout which is something I don't do that much.
I used some old corrugated cardboard and mostly products from stash.

Bents Basin and the kiddies
Some pics Aimee took at Bents Basin this weekend. Just a spot of fishing, not that they would catch anything in Bents Basin - its just really a swimming hole. A big swimming hole that is and quite a nice spot.
I remember it quite well, going there with a group of kids when we were teenagers. We thought we could all swim across the Basin. hmmm Ok if your a strong swimmer, Not ME, I nearly didn't make it and even now I remember how I felt struggling to get to the other side. But I did make it across and I'm here to tell the story.. I haven't been back since.....
So this pic is of Kody and I think Aimee had the camera set on colour replace which can replace the main colour with another colour so she ended up with purple looking water. Looks quite effective.

Our Savalloy
Well it's not really Savalloy but Savannah, she just gets called Savalloy for some reason or another. She is the bossy one of the four chihuahua's... I bought them collars with Bandana's on them, look rather cute don't they.

Layout - Let Your Light Shine Through
Love these photos of Braedon taken last year when he was in a real co-operative mood with the camera.
Can you believe I used the rest of my Daily Grind Papers. Plus lots of other products in this layout, all of which I have tried to list below. This layout has been sitting on my desk for about 3 weeks. I just wanted to finish it before we left on our trip. I love the MME Diecuts and thought they would go very nicely with the pictures of Braedon - the circle diecut I thought was appropriate and stamped the arrow pointing to "sitting", which is very unusual for Braedon.
I still plan to do atleast one challenge before we leave, will see how we go. lol - I haven't even finished packing yet.
Anyway here is the list of products.....

Finally some scrapping
How did that happen p - slip of the finger and the post was posted without any content.
So here are some of my latest layout -Braedon at the beach, I love the hues in the photos caused by the light on the sand. I found some old hessian in my stash, I must have about 2 mtrs of it. We must have collected the biggets bucket of tiny shells which I also used. I'm just waiting on a sea charm to arrive in the post to finish it off .
Again I used a lot of my scrap papers a bit of Basic Grey, Kaisercraft.
The diecut on the left is here in the store. I also used my fav white American Craft Thickers

Who is this gorgeous girl...
Tia is growing up so fast. I cant believe she is almost 8 months and is crawling and standing up on her own. She is a real sweety. Grandad is playing with the punchy toy thingamajig that Breaedon got in a showbag.
Later the punchy toy thingamajig got chewed by a small Chihuahua dog, which one was the culprit, we will never know.

Introducting our brood of chihuahua's
Thought would post a pic or two of our brood of chihuahua's and some of the new puppies - We are trying to register as a breeder as all these dogs have papers. Every time I submit our kennel names they are rejected as they are too close to other business names. If anyone have some suggestions please comment as I have run out of names.
In order of age - this is Moet - long coat, he gets called Modge for short, he likes napping in handbags. You can see here he is trying to get comfy in my red bag. Moet is a real gentleman - well most of the time. He is very playful and loves to play fetch with his fav toys.
Next is Savannah - she is also a short coat - both Sienna and Savannah trying to have a nap- one thing about the dog beds they never stay round upright for long, they always get squashed. Savannah is playful to, a little naughty and well doesn't listen much to what you say.
Lastly we have holly a long haired cutie - naughty and mischievous - will keep up the other two Moet and Savannah and gives Moet a run for his money when it comes to fetch the toy. She snatches it off him and makes out she got it.
Lastly the puppies - no names yet

Next is Sienna - the one that had puppies - riding in style here on top of Mason's pram. Sienna is a short coat. A quiet very shy one - doesn't like loud noise and is a real scaredy cat.

An interesting finding today - an old book full of music sheet paper, perfectly aged and yellow for scrapbooking layouts. A real bargain. Will use it in some of the store kits.

Scraproom Makeover
Apart from eating yummy chocolate this weekend we have also been busy paint out my scrap storage room.
My room where we store all the scrap products is quite a large room but wth raw brick work which looks like this.
We are paintng it white so it will look something like this. Bear in mind we need to do a second coat. But it makes it look so much brigher looking.
This room is filled with all my scrapping stuff, a treadmill, a freezer and the kids accumulated toys over the last 5 years. Plus this the biggest table you ever did see. Will post this table tomorrow. Here is just a few pics from my scrap stuff.

A bit of bike riding
Fun in the park this afternoon - Breaedon badgering to go to the park and take his bike. So off we went. It was a bit hot though, we should have waited until a bit later in the day. Still they had a good time. What is it about boys and dirt piles. Mix that with a bike and you have cool jumps

Braedon now camera shy
Braedon just doesn't like co-operating as much as he used to when it comes down to having his photo taken - gone are the days where he would just smile nicely for the camera. Atleast I got one reasonable pic.

Pancakes at the rocks
Just a pic or two of Ian and I at the Rocks the other day - we had pancakes for breakfast. Very nice, should have taken a photo of my stack which I only ate half of...
Used Lemons
Well, these are pics I took the other night in Darling Harbour, at a place,,,ahh can't remember the name of it. But we had a few Margarita's, I just love the look of the lemon close up. What spoils it, is the straw sticking out of it.

Pics of Braedon
Like the colours in Braedon's new T-shirt. So I took a few pics of him wearing it... Telling him to try and look natural.
